Privacy policy

ConversionMath (“we”, “us”) runs the marketing calculators at www.conversionmath.com. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site, who collects it, and the choices you have. Questions or requests: hello@conversionmath.com.

The short version

• The numbers you type into a calculator stay in your browser. We don't receive, store or log them. They never appear in page addresses, so they don't reach analytics either.
• We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, and Google AdSense to show ads. Both use cookies.
• Some links may be affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you sign up or buy through them.
• We don't ask for your name or email, and we don't sell personal information for money.

Your calculator inputs

Every calculation runs in your browser. Your spend, clicks, revenue, customer counts and other figures are never sent to our servers, and we don't store them. Copy result puts the result on your own clipboard and sends nothing anywhere.

Information collected automatically

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes standard request information, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. That processing is governed by Vercel's privacy policy.

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages and calculators people use, how they arrive (for example, from a search or another website) and roughly where they are. Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you view, the referring site, your device and browser type, your approximate location, and how you interact with pages. It uses first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) to tell visits apart.

Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We see aggregated reports, not individual identities. Google keeps this data according to the retention setting in our Analytics account. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services. Advertising and affiliate links

Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to show ads, which keeps the calculators free, with no signup and no paywall. Ads appear outside the calculators and never change your results.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's My Ad Center. You can opt out of personalized ads from other participating vendors at aboutads.info and networkadvertising.org.
• If you opt out, you'll still see ads, but they won't be personalized. Google may still use cookies for things like limiting how often you see an ad, aggregated reporting, and preventing fraud.

Affiliate links

Some links on the site, such as links to ad platforms, analytics tools or marketing software, may be affiliate links. If you click one and sign up or buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never affect calculator results, formulas or benchmarks. Once you click through, the partner's own website, cookies and privacy policy apply.

Cookies and your choices

• Browser settings: you can block or delete cookies in your browser. The calculators work without them.
• Analytics: use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on linked above.
• Ads: use My Ad Center or the industry opt-out pages linked above.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states with privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to request access, correction or deletion, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. We don't sell personal information for money. Advertising cookies may count as “sharing” under some state laws. You can opt out by using the opt-out links above.

We don't keep accounts, names or contact details for visitors, so most data about your visits is held by Google under its own policies. To make a request, email hello@conversionmath.com. We'll respond as required by applicable law and won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Children

The site is meant for marketing professionals. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Security

The whole site is served over HTTPS, and we don't run accounts, forms or databases that hold your information.

Changes to this policy

If we change how information is collected or used, we'll update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
